Rebecca Sobie has been practicing law in California for over 18 years, and is also licensed as an attorney in New York and Texas.
Having an extensive background, Ms. Sobie represents clients in cases including wage and hour issues, employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, civil rights violations, and class and collective actions filed in state and federal courts and with administrative agencies.
Ms. Sobie’s diverse range of experience includes representation of both plaintiffs and defendants, including individuals, small and large businesses, and governmental entities. She also served as a Research Attorney for two judges at the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, which is the highest volume trial court system in the nation. At the Court, Ms. Sobie handled a case load of over 1200 pending matters, and had the privilege of researching and writing draft opinions on motions. Ms. Sobie received her Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law in New York and was a Visiting Student at the University of San Diego School of Law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts dual degree in Social Sciences and Communication (Psychology emphasis) and Sociology from the University of Southern California.
